 Assassination of a High School President. So so comedy about a sophomore newspaper reporter who uncovers a big conspiracy while investigating the theft of his Catholic high school's SAT exams. (3 stars out of 5)
 Adoration. Below average drama about a teen who is assigned to translate a terrorism-related news story for his French class and weaves personal details into his tale, which soon leaves the Internet swirling with rumors that Simon's dead father was an actual terrorist. (2 stars out of 5)
 American Violet. Dull drama about a 24-year-old mother of four who's forced to take on a corrupt district attorney when she's unjustly prosecuted in a large-scale drug case. (2 stars out of 5)
 Take Out. Decent drama about an illegal immigrant who finds himself behind on a large debt due to crooks who smuggled him into the country and must come up with the payment in one day by hustling tips as he delivers Chinese food around New York City. (3 stars out of 5)
 Food, Inc.. Eye opening documentary that explores the food industry's detrimental effects on our health and environment. (4 stars out of 5)
 Every Little Step. Enjoyable documentary that follows hopeful dancers as they audition for coveted spots in the 2006 revival of "A Chorus Line." (4 stars out of 5)
 Secrecy. Average documentary about the U.S. government that has grown more and more secretive, allegedly to protect the country and save lives. (3 stars out of 5)
 New World Order. Interesting documentary that follow the exploits of passionate conspiracy theorists as they attempt to draw the public's attention to the New World Order, a powerful but extremely secretive group the theorists believe rules the world and staged the 9/11 attacks. (4 stars out of 5)
 In a Dream. OK documentary that explores the work of an artist, known for creating huge mosaic murals all across Philadelphia, and his relationship with his loved ones. (3 stars out of 5)
 O'Horten. Slow drama about a retired man who restlessness launches encounters with a host of strange characters, new behavior and unlikely adventures. (2 stars out of 5)
 Munyurangabo. So so drama about a young African man who sets off to mete out rough justice with his friend. (3 stars out of 5) |
